Speaking of lore, until two years ago all fluffies were good to a fault: They were kind yet incompetent, and innocent yet worthless. People would still kill them to protect their gardens or just for fun, but they never deserved what they got. That was kind of the whole point.

The idea of fluffies being even capable of evil started just two years ago when someone posted thread after thread of nothing but smarty fluffies here, creating a generation of fans with the idea that fluffies were evil and deserved to be punished. In an attempt to make the fluffies sound as despicable as possible, they made up new ideas like the enfie babbehs, baby hierarchies, and eventually the complete sociopath fluffies that were worse than even the worst smarties in the original stories could ever be. Nowadayds the "I want to abuse fluffies but I want them to do something to deserve it first" crowd has led to there being basically two separate fluffy fandoms with completely opposite ideas of what the average fluffy is like.
