Fuck of a question, man. Purely for graphics and shooty-boom-boom? Fallout 4. For story? Fallout 3. For exploration, discovery and jam-packed lore? DEFINITELY Skyrim, although New Vegas is a close second and is definitely my best for plain old good DLC that was actually extra content and not the rest of the base game like Broken Steel was, and for the the fun to be had screwing around and for best RPG mechanics. Quite frankly, I wish 4 had kept NV's combat systems and a large portion of its crafting system, ammunition crafting in particular. And for shoot-em-up stealth fun? Far Cry 3. It was a pretty typical FPS for the most part, but it was also an open-world game which had lots of lore, an island to explore, and the ability to approach each and every mission from more or less whatever angle you chose instead of forcing you onto a particular route. I feel like FC3 was made for people too smart for CoD but not quite smart enough for Fallout and Elder Scrolls games.

Obviously. They make wonderful open-world games and I LOVE open-world games. Open-world games are amazing because they let you do your own thing, do everything in your own way.
