The trick is to hang out with the kind of people who would probably do acid. It's pretty common in some areas of the US but not others. Hang out with weed smokers, and just mention to every dealer or any druggie friends that you're looking for it. It will probably show up eventually. I find it from time to time, but it is definitely less common than weed, coke, mdma, or shrooms. Also, college campuses and raves or clubs are good places to find it.

Here in the netherlands we have a lot of drum 'n bass events where they ALWAY have people selling mdma/lsd/cocaine. Is there any sort of equivalent where you're at op?

I would just ask the weed man, like others have stated. Personally though, I would be quite cautious, LSD itself is as safe as Vitamin C and has had no known overdoses, even in huge amounts, but some folks sell research chems on blotter and claim it's acid. So make sure you get a reliable source, unless you want your mind fucked into oblivion for 10+ hours.

The issue is that there are a lot of fakes/research chemicals sold as LSD, and obviously there is no establishment to control these substance's quality. See if there are drug testing kits available online for LSD, they exist for drugs like Molly to check purity.

In my case, I was fortunate enough to have a friend who was into it, and a weed dealer who was into it back in my college days. It's a hell of a trip, but should definitely not be abused. I know a guy who never completely came out of his trip and then disappeared. No idea what happened to him.
