Astoria Straight sword +10 (closest to baller swag sword in the game)
Just waiting to actually beat lord of cinder so I can pvp in all the areas, wearing old sages head wrap, nameless king chestpiece, wolf gauntlets and leggings. Havel, fap, knight, and estus rings equiped.
Favorite boss was Aldrich by far. The visuals were amazing and the nostalgia made me cry a lot more than Id like to admit.

i would put the games like this 1>3>2, they have gone back to ds1's amazing atmosphere and taken cues from bloodborne with levels that wind into themselves (you can unlock multiple shortcuts to bonfires) and such. however i feel that one of the biggest disappointments is that bonfires are very common(for every single boss you beat you get a new bonfire, ontop of a LOT of standard bonfires, the second problem i have with it is that it's really, really self-referential with "hey remember this npc" going on all the time, i think it would have been better to put small nods towards ds1 but have it's own characters, like ds2 did (i know a lot of people didn't like ds2, but it was far from a bad game, and did plenty of stuff right)

Also according to some of the lore, the nameless king seems to be one of the gwyns firstborns, who was exiled for siding with dragons, thats why he has similiar hair, uses lightning and generally is cool enough to ride an everlasting dragon.

I find that the story is FAR too derivitive of Dark Souls 1 and there aren't enough new aspects of the lore to make it good. Complain all you want about DS2 but having beaten the game and done some lore hunting, DS2's story was better by a lot.

Each time you use Yoel to level up you gain a dark sigil. Each dark sigil hollows you when you die (if you have 1 you get 1 hollowing point on death, if you have 5 you get 5 hollowing points per death)

If you do all 5 something happens *no spoilers* that introduces another character who gives you hints on how to attain the hardest of the 4 endings.

Either go all in with 5 to try and get that ending, or if you dont want that get rid of them ASAP. In the tower behind firelink, there is an item that the firekeeper needs to get rid of your sigils. *THE HIGHER LEVEL YOU ARE THE MORE STUPIDLY EXPENSIVE THIS IS*.

Your character doesnt hollow on death at all if you have none otherwise he gets grosser and you have to heal it with an item or at velka shrine.

Like I said, just straight up beat her on my first try.
The moveset was strange amd I had problems to get into the rythm, but the attacks didn't do a lot of damage and so they fight wasn't all that hard.
Had more problems with Rotwood even.
