There are lots of different ways I guess, and this might not be what's best for everyone but I usually play some community server. Depending on my mood maybe Free for all HS only, or some regular aim map deathmatch. Also only pistol HS, that's pretty fun.

If you're super dedicated you could download pro game VODS and watch them until you memorize how they play. But that is a lot of work, so, yeah. Will improve your gamesene immensely if you really try to learn though. Hope this helps

I'm LEM but mostly play in ESEA.

My tips:

filter for top rated smoke/flash trainer maps on workshop and learn a couple smokes for every bomb site

training_aim_csgo2 is a must, Fast Aim/Reflex Training Map is good as well. I will usually practice on both of these + deathmatch before playing any competitive matches.

DONT BE TOXIC even if your team is losing or you think someone might be cheating. Checking steam profiles is a good way to tilt yourself, so don't.

Lookup videos by Adren and Steel on youtube -- pretty basic stuff for anyone who has played previous iterations of CS but definitely helpful.

Valve MM is probably your worst option for playing competitive if you want to actually get better -- ESEA>FACEIT>CEVO

Supreme here, was global before reset. Just started playing again since i just came home from a 4 month trip.

Id say always warm up with some deathmatch, always try to find 4 friends or something to play with, if you dont have alot of irl's playing then add people that played well in a game you played well in aswell and try to build up your friendslist to always have people to play with that you know are vocal.

Also watch pro matches, try to see how the react in diffrent situations, like taking over mid or how they're holding sites. Whenever you feel your got a grasp of the game overall, and your aim dosn't suck, you can move onto youtube to learn to throw grenades in the most optional way, it helps alot to recover/defend.

-Lower sensitivity (i play 800 dpi 1.7sens)
-1280x1024 stretched, this makes enemies wider so its easier to aim.
-play surf and kz servers to gain better movement
-Practice spraying with m4 and ak (lots of tutorials and workshop maps)
