Ball Python are really easy to take care of but are finicky eaters.
Red Tail Boas are also easy to take care of but they can grow upwards of 15 feet, they'll eat just about anything you throw in

both are very docile and will love to crawl around

What they eat depends on what species. Smaller species can get away with mice, larger species eat rats, even still bigger can eat anything between rabbits, chickens, geese, whatever. I even had a friend from an anconda board who swore he fed his goat, although I don't think it's possible.

Cats are fine, you're keeping it in a cage.

Yes, you can wear it around depending on the species. Good rule of thumb is no solo handling if they're over six feet and an additional person per foot after eight.

Well I got Lucy when she was a baby after taking a few years to get used to giant constrictors before I jumped in and got my dream snake. I worked really hard at taming her down by scattered handling sessions.

Still really miss that snek, had to give her up when I moved to Florida.

But yeah, and it's a common misconception Retics are aggressive. From what I've experienced they're just hella food crazy. Have to know how to handle them when getting them out or in of their enclosure.
