I preferred Active to USMCR. Think about standing in a bucket of shit. If you do it 24-7 you get used to it... it aint so bad. Now if you had to spend one weekend a month in said bucket of shit, you'd spend the rest of the month trying to get back to normal.

The recruiters might be able to schedule your boot camp in the summer, but then you have your MOS training to think about... you'll need time for that.
