I've had 2C-B, but threw up and did not enjoy myself. I would give it another shot though, as the visuals were amazing. MDA is preferred, I agree. Much more empathetic, rhythmic movements and thought patterns and a lot less of the MDMA-associated anxiety.

Well, keep in mind there are plenty of ways to take painkillers in lower doses but keep the same effects. ex: 8oz 100% grapefruit juice and 2 tbsp black peppercorn (ground) in yogurt/shake an hour before a 15mg dose of roxy to potentiate, and a high fat meal a half hour after opiate ingestion to increase absorption. I swear by it, with any opiate.

I'm not entirely sure, and neither are the doctors. But in general it's heavyly related to trauma, and my brainscans show small abnormalies.

The other friend I do it with is also paranoid schizophrenic, and we handle it pretty well... I can't say what happens in his head of course, but he doesn't seem to suffer too much ill-effect.

I did it once with my friends, everyone took the same dosage and they were all tripping balls and getting crazy visuals. Whereas I barely got any visuals (just that slight moving fabric thingy where you look at a wall or carpet you get on a lot of hallucinogens) but I felt so completely autistic, like everything I did felt incredibly awkward.
We went to some party and I literally couldn't dance, I just stood there with my arms folded over. Later I drank some beers and started to feel a bit more normal again.

Anyone else had a similar experience or care to share what 2c-i was like for you?

spot on. I just crave that feeling of euphoria, anxiety relief and rational thinking over emotional reasoning, and stims give that to me. I start with an attack dose (nothing too major) then take moderate bumps throughout the night, making sure to drink water, eat light, stay clean etc.
I usually binge 3-4x a month, but never take stims daily, albeit a hard constriction given my amphetamine prescription (for anxiety, which is almost unheard of). Klonopin helps cut off the unwanted effects, clonidine keeps my blood pressure down and gabapentin to alleviate anxiety about sleep-dep seizures due to having one while driving a few years ago. Big mistake.

But it's good to have a friend who understands what is happening in your brain when diagnosed with a mental ailment.

I wouldn't say I use speed to get rid of anxiety, because it make me a little more agitated... I just like the general feeling it produces for me, like ability to focus my mind more on conversation, and that I am not a inhibited by social norms and constructs as I normally am.

Med student here, as well (i think i mentioned above) but there are numerous published articles on anxiety relief and certain stimulants, especially with acute anxiety disorders (social anxiety in my case, but also helps with GAD). I speculate (my notes arent on me) that it has to do with action sites at the prefrontal cortex (processes complex planning, decision-making and executive functioning as you probably know) being 'straightened out' and rationalized, making the fear or anxiety not eliminated, but rationalized instead of overthinking. I hope that made sense.

I have only dont 2C-B besides 2C-I, I love 2C-B, but compared to my friends my body breaks it down a lot faster and I need higher dosages to get to the same level (even though I never abuse it, so it's not tollerance).
2CB for me usually starts with a bit sick feeling at the same time the visuals start. Never had to puke from it though, the sickness disappears in less than 15 minutes, than the colours change and become more bright. Finally depending on how high I am I get this rasterized overlay of bright lines and I see faces distorted (usually it's like the face is cut in 3 pieces in horizontal plane at height of the eyes and mouth and doesn't seem to match up right so it's hard to recognize people and weird to look at them). Then there's the constant feeling of the expectation of something that's gonna happen, when I take 2cb with friends we always make a plan of where we are gonna walk or what we're gonna do, if there's no plan the feeling of expecting something (sorry english not my first language i don't know the proper word to describe it) Just becomes too evident and I don't feel at ease. Finally there's the way you can get impressed by what you see or what you do, for example I walked up a stairs than looked down and it just took my breath away because I was amazed how high up I got.
Another example: I got on a swing and started swinging a little without realizing it, I was so impressed and amazed that I was moving back and forth. But without realizing it I kept swiming and I didn't know how to stop it, so I was stuck on the swing yelling at my friends that I didn't know how to stop and it was so scary and fun at the same time. It probably took like a minute but it felt like forever.. Finally they told me to just put my feet down as breaks and that's how I managed to stop.

I've done 2CB only like 6 times total now.

Yeah I get what you're saying, the prefrontal activation just relieves the inhibitions that might be part of the cause of anxiety in certain conditions/disorders. But it would really only apply to certain cases and as a doctor I would be rather hesitant to prescribe something like that because of it potentially having the opposite effect in a lot of others. Did you go through a whole bunch of other meds first that didn't work?
If it does work for you though amphetamine is a much better solution than benzo's would be, especially concerning your acedemic performance.

I'm Dutch so our medical system is a bit different. After highschool we go to university where Medicine is a 6 year university degree (bachelors and masters, a bachelors in medicine without masters is completely worthless), after university you are an MD without specialisation, you can then choose to specialize. Personally I'm not really certain yet, I used to think plastic surgery, but I've worked with a plastic surgeon and found out it's not really my thing. I'm not thinking of urology (because of the option to operate and also diagnose, and I'm really fascinated by the endocrine and neurological complexity of the bladder/genitals) or anesthesiology. Either way I would like to first do my phD after becoming MD and start specialization after that.

You are right, it really was a gamble. I have been through almost every prescribable SSRI/SNRI, as well as Lamictal/lamotrigine, just to rule out mania/bipolar (a very incorrect diagnoses). I'm 22, and have been on too many meds to list. I've never fought with depression, so that complicates the process of finding the correct medications.
I can't outright ask for what I want, but I know what works, so I just asked my doctor if amphetamines were an option (with a little lying and rehearsing ADD guidelines per DSM IV). But my medication combo works for my diagnoses: 2mg Klonopin/day, 50mg Vyvanse/day, 30mg Mirtazapine/nightly, 15mg Buspar as needed for panic attacks & 120 600mg gabapentin as needed. Of course, this is accompanyed with vitamins, exercise, good diet, water, at least a little sleep (most of the time), and mental exercise (schoolwork, personal research).
This is why I love psychopharmacology! Even the slightest neurochemical fluctuation or medicine adjustment can help a person live a normal life, even though the medication is set to work in one specific way (obviously there are numerous exceptions to that)

It may not be irreparable. Nootropics have been said to boost neural connectivity (in a sense), as well as general mental well-being vitamins, supplements, drugs and exercises. As far as psychedelics and schizophrenia goes, it's a hit or miss (from what I have gathered). I couldn't tell you if they are right for you, but it couldn't hurt to try as long as you have a benzo/sedative in case things go haywire. I'd personally recommend mushrooms. Very, very relaxing, introspective psychedelic and not overwhelming (esp. with some relaxing weed).

I think the DSM IV/V system is a great way to characterise the extremes of each disorder but in reality there is a whole spectrum and mixture of different parts of those disorders and everything is intertwined with personal context/behaviour/thought process as well.
Just out of curiousity have you ever tried NOOPEPT for study purposes? for some people it's amazing and gives so much energy and focus (I'm one of those people) But it seems to only work for 1 or 2 weeks at a time and also gives me insomnia. I'd definitely recommend to try it sometime if you haven't already.

Oh, of course. I mean, everyone has some varying degree of attention deficit; same goes with anxiety. I did go into my p-doc's office in hopes of getting an amphetamine, but it was incredibly easy. I agree completely with the DSM IV/V being organized and giving proper signs of a wide array of ailments on all spectrums, but, as you know, neurochemicals and neurological functioning in relation to actual pertinent diagnoses vary from person to person. No as far as nootropics go NOOPEPT is the only thing that stands out for me, it takes a time to build up, usually day 1 i don't feel much after 3 days it's really good, then stays good for about a week and then slowly my energy increase goes down. I feel like a hypomaniac on it, however a productive and focused one. The reason I don't take it longer or more often is because I also sleep an average of 4-5 hours per night on it and after a while that really get's to you.

I got my oxiracetam directly from china, might've been a faulty batch though, because I read online it's supposed to taste sweet ish if it's pure but mine tasted absolutely fucking horrifying worse than anything I've ever tasted.

Why is that? And dextroamphetamine is almost pure amphetamine. for productivity, if that's what you can get, take it. For sure. Adderall has a smaller percentage of the active ingredient (d-amp) compared to pure dextroamp.
It also has a higher bioavailability when sniffed (and taken with Tums). I'd take that in a heartbeat. Great for social occasions, work, school or being alone.

Then I go sports 4 times a week which makes 8 hours and I haven't even mentioned the time I spend studying at home yet.
