I like zombie movies and gorefests, this show is both on pretty much a weekly basis, also Negan looks class and the cliffhanger on the last season really has me waiting for the new one. It got kinda shit tho, one episode is literally two grown men fighting with sticks in the woods for 50 fucking minutes + they added a ton of shit useless characters, some of them die out tho so at least they got whats coming to them. I was going to say The Wire. Excellent writing. Guy who wrote it used to cover the cop beat as a writer in Baltimore. At the start it was kinda cool the way the zombies played some kind of a threat to the humans, now everybody knows how to kill them and they are of no danger at all.

Its all human vs human during the last few seasons, with a few zombies walking around here and there to remind you what show you're watching. I do like the fact they make the zombies look more decayed/darker due to the period of time thats passed since the first season and the zombie outbreak. Lots of little details they put loads of effort into, but its hardly visible if you don't pay super attention.

It used to be a proper tv series material based on the comics, now it's going into the comic book vibe too much with all them shitty characters with sticks/katanas/trench coats and whatnot, fucking controlling zombies and all that shit, kinda ruins the show for me but i wanna see how it ends, if it ever plans on ending.

After being a Lynch movies fan for years, I just recently finished watching Twin Peaks.

It mainly had to do with the time period. The show hit a number of plots/characters that had already been on tv for a while but Lynch twisted them in a really unique,suspenseful, weird way that made them accessible to the general public. Plus in the early 90's conspiracy theories and serial killer' were the media's focus and ended up being on everybody's mind, and this show combined those elements in a soapy comical way. Shit explanation but yeah it's a product of it's time that hasn't aged too well.

I love The Office UK but I do think the US version is slightly better because of Steve Carrell. The point is that you haven't even defended your analysis of the show with anything reasonable. You concluded what you thought first and then constructed some bullshit hypothesis about why so many people like it but you don't. There's nothing special about the time period in which TP was first released. Conspiracy theories, American mysticism, and a lot of other hallmarks of the show ring just as true today as when it aired.
