Look, I lost my scholarship, big time, had a mental breakdown thats to this fucking day been untreated. If you want to pick up a trade school do it your GP's will pay for it if they will let you live with them, same price, ya bum, jk. but take up welding or plumbing, lot of jobs in those fields, my uncle is a master welder and plumber and is teaching me so all I have to do is take a test for apprentice, for at most a year.

Right now I'm kind of in "wait and see" mode - I'm trying to keep my scholarship, but if I do it'll almost be a relief. If I don't lose it though I'll get a degree in something anyhow, since it can't hurt anything. I'll probably wind up in trade school even after college though, since I can't stand the thought of working in an office.

It's kinda dumb, I grew up in an automotive family and know a crapton about vehicles and enjoy working on them, but my grandfather was a mechanic and he (as well as others) always told me not to be a mechanic, with plenty of stories. I mean I get it, I'm sure I wouldn't enjoy it if I did it all day every day, but it feels weird to know as much as I do about a subject and have marketable skills in it but not want to work in it.
