Fucking Seth McFarlane. Smelled like goddamn Axe and date rape, even through the crowded bar in Adams Morgan. The flash, the diffuser, the technique for bouncing the flash, and the lack of other equipment definitely show that she doesn't operate as a professional photographer. Most of the time, you would not use a lens hood indoors because it's rather pointless and can create unintended shadow effects given the right settings. There isn't even a strap or battery grip of any sort being used, too.
The lens she is using is pretty decent, even if it is an older revision. I'd like to hope she owns it, but she is most likely renting it for that occasion.

If that image was taken by one of the cameras that either of them own, it is definitely a crop from an older crop sensor, like a D300. You can take great images from that, but if that is the best device you're using as a professional photographer, that is pushing it a bit.

Wow, I am actually impressed. 5Ds are pretty alright still, even the 5D classic, but are starting to show their age rapidly.
The 28-70mm lens is okay, but nowhere near a 24-70mm. It is decent for newspaper work, but not for weddings or any serious occasions.
The 70-200mm f/4 is actually quite sharp, but not a tool that a professional photographer would actively choose to rely on.
Those CF cards are decent, but a little too slow for quick work. But if you're using 5Ds, that's not an issue.
