basically, you control one character that moves across the board, with various tiles granting status effects, treasure, or containing other players or NPC.
every turn, you draw a number of cards, if you have room in your hand, and can play those cards, and move across the board
victory is gained by various means that all involve roving across the board collecting things and improving your character, as well as playing cards against the other players, and battling them and a few NPC
battle is risk-like, with dice that give you defense and attack stats. you can also equip a number of equipment,t or follower cards that grant combat or other bonuses
