Hatredcopter has some of the least raspy growls of any song they've done (which is quite something as Dethklok has the least raspy growls of any band I've heard).
I Ejaculate Fire (https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=w-LIv2c7nNw) is relatively raspy for them, but it still sounds good because it's still far less raspy than most death metal.

No growl could ever be considered as clean as regular singing, but by removing the harsh sounds the throat sometimes makes when doing death growls you lose a lot of the difference of timbre between death growls and regular singing and overall it sounds lower.
