I do freelance translation, mostly research papers. Not exciting, but very good money. I sometimes do part-time English lecturing at a local university.
I really just self-taught from books and read a great deal. The Genki texts and Remembering The Kanji by Heisig are good places to begin, in my opinion.

alright so basically i was gonna post this but it was the original but most of the ifles were over 4 MB so it couldn't be uploaded and it was 260 MB and the resolution was 3333x4730
so i made it 1/8 its size to 417x592 and saved it as 8 bit so all the files were under 185 KB and everything was under 5 MB total
then i saved them as 256 colors but green showed up so i made it black and white and re-saved it to make everything under 52 MB and less than 2 MB total
but since that takes more effort and makes it looks like her ass has nipples then i guess resize and 8-bit is the only acceptable form of re-save
