I am looking for a game i once played. i dont remeber the name cos i was apunk and didnt even know english. I do remember however that it was a TRS. it was somewhat middle ages but with cannons. the resources were wood iron and something else. i remeber that you could put workers to work on iron kilns where there was a building with a kiln and an anvil that had redhot sword on it if worker was working. i only got to the third level becasue the enemy had some mortar looking cannons and beat me every time.
>>612226122
Mass Effect
1 was amazing
2 was good but i never finished it
3 i never tried due to all the negative feedback.

>>612226342
this game bugged out on me, so I could never get the creature to grow. So annoying man... days before we had the internet, couldn't just fix this shit.
>>612226471
The best PoP game
>>612226581
Oh my fucking god.. I lost
>>612226482
Both 1 and 2 were amazing, but 1 is a definite classic
>>612226492
Always good to see some D2. I remember making a pair of gloves with the item creator that would make it so every time you hit something it would cast every one of the sorcerer's spells at level 99 all at once. My old PC lagged hard lol
This. Game of my childhood.
>>612226616
Black and White. Awesome game where you play as a god and control a creature while maintaining a town with villagers against disasters and shit. you also help them out with errands and shit. Totally fun when you can turn your creature into hell's monkey (literally, a red monkey oozing with evil)
>>612226794
Fuck, I god that game on a pirate cd I bought on a shady fleamarket in poland. I lost the cd and always wondered what that game was.
Anyone remember death rally?
>>612225914
my niggga,
>>612226675
i almost forgot about that, was in a pc game magazine back in y2k!
>>612227225
The game has to be old to be considered worthy of nostalgia
>>612226021
My motherfucking nigga!
>>612227106
All I remember is sniping people in that space map.
This one I remember clearly.. That detention map though.. LET ME OUUUUT

And Riven
Story time!
>We had intercomms installed at our house so we could talk easily between the upstairs and downstairs without shouting.
>We were supposed to go out the night this came out to buy it from Best Buy.
>My dad refused to take my brother and I to get it. (was probably like $40 at the time)
>I started crying and asking "pleeeease" over the intercomm
>Eventually everyone in the house turned theirs off.
>I had a blanket around me and not sure if that gave myself away or not (was a bright green bug's life blanket), it probably did but my dad just didn't say anything and hasn't since, but I went downstairs and crawled around to get to the intercomm and turn it back on then came back upstairs to continue what it was I was doing.
Eventually we went out and got it.
>>612227445
>MFW pic looks better than i remember the game to look
>>612226549
No problem.
>>612227538
He's in this thread, you think he would? Also, if you need backstory for your gameplay, so you don't just zip through all dialogue (especially crucial in this game because all decisions determine the outcome of your game) then you NEED to play 1 - 3. All decisions carry over to the next one.
Nobody sportsing in here?
>>612227705
i spent so much goddamn money on this game in the arcade when i was in highschool. i could have probably used that money for college.
>>612227360

If you buy the decisions DLC.
THIS ONE WAS THE BEST!
It had the program that let you CREATE your own tables with custom images/sounds/bouncer properties/etc. on your PC. I created so many farting bouncers.
>>612226070
epic shit
>>612228752
Totally underrated trilogy.
I have replayed them at least once a year to this day.
>>612228518
Admittedly it had a horrible issue with textures taking forever to load in but it still wins the award for best ME.
>>612228801
2 will make absolutely no sense if you don't see how the first one ends and get the feel for the characters and yourself. I'll admit, the only thing that really carries over is if you're a male or femshep, but still really good to see the storyline and how it progresses throughout the trilogy.
*spoiler*
I was freaking the fuck out at how amazing it was when you met the prothean artifact that talked to you in the first one. Best in-game experience ever
>>612227117
Yoshimitsu. Tekken 3 was my shit man
>>612226239
>>612227538
>ME1 is best ME
My fucking niggers
>>612229101
I know that.
I was just saying that you have to buy a DLC to actually make the decisions you made in 1 carry over to 2.
I hated that that fucking ashley was still alive when i started 2..
from the MS-DOS days
the entire Petz series really was good, especially Catz 4. I remember going onto angelfire websites to get hosted breed files and make the oddest looking fucking cats you could ever see. I'm talking like ones that were just a really tiny ball of fur when fully grown.
>>612228872
That looks like a shittier version of pic related
>>612229384
>you have to buy a DLC to actually make the decisions you made in 1 carry over to
You did something wrong bruh.
>>612229316

I remember the second one with the UFO and that super awesome farm music. So freaking catchy
for pic: found this in a nearby store's cheap ass games bin for like $4 - 5. BEST MONEY EVER SPENT
Anyone else a fan of this bad ass series

This and the Jill of the Jungle series were great platformers.
>>612226239
ME 1 was the best, ME2 was almost just as good
I liked ME3, but not in the same league as 1 or 2
>>612230402
Can't forget Hocus Pocus
>>612230151
Omg I played that while on an exchange program in a different country but never knew what it was called. That game was awesome.
>>612228389
Awesome game, pretty fucking hard though
Even making notes while I played it was hard.
>>612230335
>Rune
Mah nigga. I really wish there was another game out there like it. The online combat was actually really fun, save for the limited weapons and types of attacks
>>612230447
did it really exist?
>>612229651
no other oldfags remember how awesome this game was?
Kill them johnny, kill them all.
>>612225165
This game demands a sequel. I played the shit out of it.
AKA Rescue Rover 2
>>612230808

>>612231011

>>612230964

B Hunter. I was too young to understand it and never figured how I turn my ship again after it flipped for some reason....went on to fly through railway tunnels chasing the train (or vice versa)
>>612226882
Game of my childhood.
>>612231128
Isn't even 2. THIS is what I remember.
>>612230335
Never played to campaign, but I remember having fuckloads of fun with it along with some buddies at LAN parties.
>>612229834
That was fun. Tried to paint so many pictures with it.
>>612231301

I'm not holding my breath, but I hope it pans out
>>612226280

>>612231579
PC Gamer Demo disks?
>>612231592
That's exciting to hear! Might be doable. The only companies that nowadays need more money than that to make a descent game (see what i did there?) are really any kind of MMO.
>>612231737
Likewise. Spammed with tanks kek
/thread
>>612225614
well i prefer sim city 3000 but itsa okaya
My nostalgia boner is diamonds
>>612231990

>>612232241
Always owned the entire yard before entering the house lel
When it comes to videogames, I don't think anything can make me more nostalgic than Warcraft 2.
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cfOaV9QEk4I
I fucking loved that game to death as a kid.
>>612231943
>descent
My biggest concern is it is being made by guys that were working on Star Citizen, aka the most over hyped game in human history. So I fear they are just doing what they saw happened with star citizen...
>Play on peoples' nostalgia for old games
>make a shitton of money for doing nothing but making a single crysis map and a couple models
>Hey, we should try it with Descent now!
Also, unrelated, mark my words, Star Citizen is going to be a failure of hliarious proportions
>inb4 nostradamus
you lost
>>612232398
Best soundtrack in a warcraft game ever.
>>612225914
well, i prefer the original on amstrad CPC

>cue the funk soundtrack
>>612225165
stubs is one of my all time favorites also dat soundtrack is one of the best ever
>>612225165
does anyone remember a RPG game on the PC set in medieval times, where you're some kind of knight or whatever who gets fucked up by a vampire in a cave or some shit. Then it proceeds to jump forwards in time, like the 40-50's maybe (maybe even 'today').
I can't remember the name of that game for the life of me
>>612232648
Holy fuck, I didn't expect to see that.
Yes, I lost.
>>612227324
mah nigga
>>612232598
Bummer to hear, but yeah they had some pretty high expectations for that and usually such a massive scope ends up being nothing more than a heap of failure. Technology is not at a point yet that a game can have that kind of sustainability/capability
>>612230964

>>612226254
My nigga.
The father of Lara Croft. The first level of TR2 was basically a citation of this game.
>>612232655
actually, i really like the OST for heroes of the storm but i think it's because of my warcraft2 OST loving
