Really great movie. Again one that doesn't rely on jump scares or gore, but instead unsettles you until the monster is revealed, and it's more the suspense than anything else that just, well, unsettles everything you've known about depression.

I don't want to spoil it by saying too much about it, but it's essentially about a girl that drowns and then her family is grieving. It's filmed in a documentary style.

It's a slow burning movie, that gave me chills watching the first 20 mins.

The best way to watch it is late at night, with all the lights off, and turning off your laptop/phone.

Now I can get why people don't like it as barely anything happens, but I happen to love the film. The only thing I will defend is the decision to not show the witch. You do that and you ruin the entire film. Nothing is scarier than the human imagination, see Darth Maul wannabe in Insidious or any demon in recent horrors. As soon as you see it, you can get used to it. In the worst cases, it just looks laughable.
