This was a long time ago so bear with me
>Me 15 years old
>My sister 19 years old
>She had an accident when she was little so now she can't use her right arm and right leg freely
>Overall she lives a normal life, goes to school, etc.
>She doesn't present any major brain damage but she isn't smart either
>Gets bullied hard
>We went to the same elementary school but never talked in there
>She becomes highly forgiving in order to have some friends to talk with
>Ends school without any good friend
>In her 20th birthday she gets 20,000 dollars (approximately)
The money was from the insurance company for the therapy she needed but she got well before finishing the treatment so the company gave my parents the rest of the money
>Suddenly she have 2 best friends
>They follow her anywhere and she always pays
>She buys them all sorts of stuff: TVs, consoles, even furniture
>I understand what they are doing and get really angry at them but I can't do anything because they are "not my business"
>Parents don't do anything because "she is an adult now"
>I realize my rage is that she spends her money in them instead of in me and my parents, so I'm not very different than them and step back
>She continues to buy them stuff and pay for their everything
>Finally, after almost three months the money runs up
>In those 3 months my mother finally said something and now they are not in good terms
>She doesn't say where she is going when she gets out of the house
>But we know that she goes to one of the friends house
>In that time I got a part-time job in a store close by and started making some money
>Always keeping it in cash because didn't want to make a bank account
>She stopped going to school and only hung out with the friends
>But when the money runs out she suddenly stops
>We all assume that the friends just dumped her because the money was over and it was over
