Isn't legitimate wrestling like the stuff in that gif still called "amateur wrestling" by default?
If you're talking about training to become a sweaty mandrama professional I remember a thread discussing it over a year ago, but it was literally like one or two guys and what little advice they got was "don't bother". For the msot part /wwe/ seems more interested in the shoddy soap opera scripts and production costs than anything the actual wrestlers do, so don't count on it.

This is just the closes to related thing I have on this hardrive and figured people would focus more on the question then focusing on the gif.

So basically what I am getting so far is that despite /asp/ being taken over by pro-wrestling, no one here actually pro-wrestles, or even thinks about doing it?

I plan to begin training in pro-wrestling once a prohibitive injury heals, aiming to train under Carlo Cannon in Melbourne. Don't suppose anyone lurking has a review of his gym or work? Dunno how I'll do in the tryouts though. I'll probably need at least a few months of training to be fit enough after my long hiatus from fighting and weightlifting. I'm not your typical lover of sweaty man-drama (good name) though, I tend to enjoy that kind of stuff ironically since I didn't grow up with it. I was more a comics and fighting video games kid, so I guess that explains my gravitation toward Mexican and Japanese styles.
