Fucking bearings, decks and shoes m8, i fuck up and break at least something every month.
Bought bones atf a few weeks ago and noticed this today. Is there any kind of warranty? I messaged my local on insta about it but I'm skeptical if they'll do anything.
>>1283182
I doubt your LSS will do anything.
bones.com/why/warranty/
I don't know where you're at, but it could be worth it to ship it to them with an explanation of what happened. Worst case scenario you lose some money from shipping and lose a broken wheel if they decide it wasn't defective. I'd bet they'll send you another set and cover the shipping though since I've never seen a wheel do this.
>>1283207
You should probably include a receipt or other proof of purchase as well.
>>1283182
lol I bought a set of bones STF to try them out and they did the EXACT same thing. they were good up until that point I guess
>>1283182
You should be able to get a replacement for defected products

I want to support my local skate shop but their deck selection is lacking because they'd rather have fuckboi sneakers and t-shirts, so I'm going to bring a deck in and complete it there. Post cool decks or links.

phatjuice, makes great bearings but they have a shitty reputation because of that antisemitic stuff in the 90s

Underrated in what way? The quality of the product or the image they present themselves in?

I like SML wheels, they are really tough and slide really well

>>1283585
They might be able to order it for you 9/10 if they're a cool shop. Sometimes the people the shop gets it from (the company, distributor) doesn't have anymore, either and can't send it to the shop anyway.
I definitely encourage people to support shops! People can build local, private parks with the money sometimes that comes in from a shop. Stuff like contests, jams, random skate teams coming through to do demos. All possible with shops.
>>1283559
Sweet, what kind of wheels are those?
>>1283559
Damn, dude!
Yeah, I'd definitely not want to boardslide that thing at all.

thanks, i have a boner for black trucks.
Can anyone give me some tips on no-comply? I gave them a good try today and realized that it's a lot harder than they look.
Please help lads
>>1284223
Doing them straight without an obstacle is hard, you have to step forcefully, then really snap the tail, bonk it off your knee pretty much, then jump back on. Doing them straight using a curb to bonk the tail on is easier. Step onto the curb and let the tail hit the curb it'll even itself out and you can get on.
Frontside 180 is the easiest NC. Turn your shoulders all the way, as far as you can front side, while having your front foot heel hanging off a good amount, back foot centered, then just slip the front foot off, and the tail will hit on its own, and you should front 180 on your own because you wound up your shoulders, pivoting on your front toes/foot. At first you'll have the board land first, then you'll step onto it, as you get better you'll be able to jump with it, and get on before it lands. If you have trouble getting it to work, try to get your front foot off cleanly first, after that, work on getting a good snap of the tail, but the key is really you want to push the board around with your back foot after the snap... That's why winding up helps as well it will help you get that front side pushing motion of the back foot you need. You kind of want to "push" the board a full 180 with you back foot, literally turning your back foot around with the board
Backside .... Its the same... Step off, scoop, step on... But its much more exaggerated, hang your front foot toes off like the whole way, just your heel on. You want your back foot toes deep in the pocket. You need to scoop the board hard, like a shuvit, really... It needs to 180 fully way early to make it through your legs or your just gonna hit the back of your knee. Hope this helps
>>1283871

>Predictions?
Birdhouse looks like they want to win at all costs. Last episode they were in the van after the board building contest talking about how they should have cheated by peeking. This plus the clip of what looks like Clint pushing someone off their board during a trick attempt makes me think they will win but look like extra-juvenile twat-jocks in doing so.
Go Toy Machine/Chocolate!
>>1285440
Had one of these, it was an 8. Broke it on a varial flip today. Planning on getting an 8.25 or something.

Birdhouse is good at this sort of team shit, also clint is a certified dick so they've got that working for them too. They're going to be like Zero was, multiple years of wins, calling it now
Happy 48th birthday to the Birdman.
>>1286457
Damn, vintage.
>>1286473
They are for sure systematic like the Zero team. The documentary that talked about Jaime having all the spots lined up in each city sounds exactly what the Birdhouse team is doing. This kind of regimentation feels so sports team to me so I really just hope they lose to the stoner Toy Machine dudes.
>>1286457
If you haven't watched the Weekend Buzz with Lucero and Grosso then you dont deserve to own that deck. Everyone should peep that episode. Really good.

Okay, perhaps edgy was the wrong word. I just think that coloured trucks and wheels look really cheap and poor quality for some reason. Kind of like they belong on a Walmart board or something. They just give off a plastic kind of vibe. But whatever, ride what you want to ride.
p.s. >>1286111 is my deck and I have silver trucks and white wheels and I'm 22 not 12 and they don't even have zumies in my country.
>>1286903
That's what you'd think but its not so true anymore, is: guy, ave.. Kostons fully flared part was all him in his 30s (assuming the earliest footy was from 2005) .. If Reynolds kickflipping UCI gap (staygold ender) is "his 900" he did that at 32
>>1286813
I see what you're saying, but it's black. lots of raw metals come in that color. It also matches the deck and bushings so I would give that at least +5 more points putting it at a 7/10. I think I also see the color of the wood matches the green on the wheels. Thats another +1. If he has white/black hardware I would give him +1 more point.
>>1286919
Good point. What do you think Kostons 900 was? Also Ave's and Guy's?
>>1286933
hardware is all black

I 'll say it again, I so dig that deck. Take a better/full picture and we 'll put it in the next OP, what do you say?

Mark is saying it like it is. He's basically saying why advice shouldn't come into play.

So good. Can't wait to see his Away Days footage.

This is the best I could do for now, taking product shots after I get home
>>1290263
Yes, I like MC. His style is so 90s and early 2000s without looking like a stroke victim.
Also Tony's street skating was still 10x better looking than D Way's, so I take that as a compliment
>>1290222
His style is great but his eccentric personality puts some people off. He's not a skater for everyone

Must've got annoyed by Gerwer and Hewitt
