Slightly bigger wheels won't make too much of a difference, but softer wheels can. Reverts and power slides will become trickier especially. Softer wheels can also feel kind of bouncy. Again, as wth most things in skate boarding, it all comes down to personal preference. I myself just moved from small, hard as shit wheels to soft 54mms and I'm not so sure I'm enjoying it. But I think I'm still in the transition stage.
However, if you want to cruise buy a separate cruiser.

Yesterday I finally decided to learn how to drop in on a vert ramp, and then I subsequently learned axle stalls and a nose pivot to disaster(? I swing my back wheels around and over the coping on to the flat and then roll back in). I still need to learn a rock to fakie though, so I can learn some tricks with a fakie approach

Ayy dudes I fuck up my ollies all the time. I can Ollie up 2 boards but I never land shit cause I always turn about 45 degrees front side. This was a tiny problem when I was learning how to Ollie but when I learned Front side 180s it seems to have really exacerbated the problem. Keeping my shoulders alligned doesn't help, popping straight down doesn't and keeping my front foot straight doesn't.
Would learning BS ollies help me out in keeping the board straight. I recently learned to kickflip and they seem more straight then my ollies.

Actually I really liked the pizza video too, some gnarly rail stuff, especially the Ollie over back and front smiths at the end. I guess I just feel like bronze is kind of played out in a sense, skating in pastels and white overalls? Really? And the skating wasn't even that great to be frank. I really liked bronze since the beginning but I feel like they lost the magic maybe I'm bitter.

The hollow kingpin with solid axle thunders are not much better than the regular all solid thunders, plus the hollow kingpin is welded in and cant be changed. But if you have enough $$ to get the hollow axle + hollow kingpin thunders, those are worth it compared to the all solid thunders for sure (in my opinion)

I love to watch the pro's doing it, but i'd like to see the type of skating I can genuinely aspire to replicate. It's a bit daunting watching people to shit you don't even want to be able to do so easily.

hollow kingpins aren't welded in, its that the forged baseplate has a more perfect fit around the kingpin. Plus, you don't really need to replace kingpins nowadays, hangars and baseplates tend to give out first.

It's probably just personal preference. I don't think it matters if you want to adjust to it, but if it were someone who was already adjusted to one shoe size and went a size larger for whatever reason, that's probably where problems might come in.
But I've only been skating for a few weeks so I wouldn't assume my thoughts are worth much.

It's not going to kill you and it won't have an effect on your ability to do tricks. Just like when you buy new shoes or a new deck you take maybe one or two sessions to get used to the feel and then you're comfortable with your new shoes or new deck. Or bigger shoes. Or smaller shoes.
My point is, stop fretting about your shoes, or your grip, or your wheels, or your fucking nuts and bolts. None of it really has that much of an effect on your skating.
If you can kickflip one setup, you can kickflip any.
