A dog came up to my door the other day. I've been taking care of him, for about three days now. He's well groomed, and I've been meaning to take him to a vet to see if he has a chip. I have a leash, and when he saw it he was really excited. Could taking him for a walk help him find his way back home?

It works. I can't count how many times I've managed to help a lost dog get home by walking with them. They'll usually walk up to the front door that they recognize.
