My ex started texting me 3 months after we broke up. She started by saying that she cant forget about me, she cant find anyone else after me, she will love me forever, and stuff like that.. also said she quit her job and is basically just sitting home. I told her that she needs to finds something to do, it will be easier for her to forget me, and that she needs more time, but she keeps texting me. After few days she send me text again with some song, telling me that she wants me to call her, and said that she wants me in her life even as a friend, and she would like to see me some time.

I didn't text her anything, because i don't know what to say, i kinda fell sorry for her, I don't want to get back together with her, and i think seeing her when she is like this is not a smart thing to do. Should i just ignore her texts or say something, but I don't want to sound cold or to make her think that I still want to be with her.

Tell her you're not interested and stop texting afterwards.

Suggest blocking her number too so you don't feel guilty if she sends you sad texts.

We had been together for over 2 years, we always had fun together, and we could talk about everything, but relationship wasn't working and thats why we both decide to break up, I thought that she even want it more than me. Thats why I'm now confused why is she texting me, if she sent me normal text, and said she want to see me, maybe I would said yes, but now she just sounds crazy to me.

Ill just ignore her for a while, if she continues with text I need to tell her to stop.

You need to be cruel to be kind here OP. Every day, every hour this goes on for is more time that she's building her hopes up, convincing herself that you two will get back together. From her perspective, anything and everything you do that isn't telling her flat out "no" is a sign of encouragement.
