How do you deal with handsy family members?
I'm recently 18 living with my mom and older brother, who is turning 26 this year and still lives at home. He's a NEET who won't get a job and just lives off of our mom. I'm a high school senior who's getting ready to go to college in the fall. But that's just background information. I'll greentext what possessed me to start this thread:

It's really really uncomfortable and I should say something but I don't want to make things weird if he's just feeling needy or something. Like I said we're a really huggy family so it's not like physical affection is weird to me. But he's never this affectionate. He's depressed and easily bothered so I feel like he might just need company. I don't really know. So I saw that thread and thought maybe I'd talk about it here. I don't think I'd be willing to talk about it with anyone else.
If anyone has any similar stories feel free to vent.

Yeah I probably will. I'm trying not to give him a hard time because he's been really depressed and I don't want to risk getting him in a bad mood again.
