I'm thinking about moving to my brothers house which is 6km away from my school. As well as school i am hoping to get a job soon and im asking what /adv/ thinks about longboards for transportation. i'll only be getting a crusing board because ill be traveling mostly, but i will get a kicktail. please share your opinion with me.

Do you live in an area with lots of hills? If not, consider getting a regular skateboard and some soft wheels instead, or.maybe a pennyboard.

This, I had a penny (fake one, but worked like a legit one) and now I have a longboard, longboards are cool, but a penny is more practical in daily use in the long run.
