I've posted here about my financial situation and the struggle with getting a degree before, so I'll just give it a quick rundown.
>Had financial aid, lost for one semester to fix GPA (by .1 GPA points, dumb lab TA, whatever).
>Parents convince me to let them cover it instead of getting a loan to cover up the fact they'd ruined my credit by using my identity prior.
>Parents didn't pay for it anyway, owe $14,000 and can't get loans.
>Financial aid permanently forfeit by break in attendance.
>Past 18 months have been dealing with that, mostly saved by a charitable grandparent.
But I've been accepted and offered loans to attend the summer semester (which would lead into a continued attendance there). It's Out-of-State (the extra tuition was waived back when I had my financial aid), and no in-state place has accepted me yet.
I'll need $7,000 for the summer and about $16,000 for each remaining semester (4-6), or approximately 50 grand a year just to finish school.
What are any jobs that pay this? The only ones I can find want you to already be out of school, and the one that I got a phone interview for (Big company that I could work elsewhere within once I got my degree) said they don't want to hire students.
I've spent the last year and a half miserable (for other reasons as well) due to being incapable of doing this. Not from a lack of ability (3.0 in my engineering degree path) or desire, but simple inability to pay for it. Should I just give up on college?

Plenty of escorts and strippers are paying their way through college.

I'm a homely guy, though, Anon.
Unless the gay escort business is both more lucrative and indiscriminate as I think it is.

Not much $200/hr+ work out there, but it can help make ends meet.

I'll erm, keep it in mind.

$60 is $60.

Yeah, I also would prefer something safe-ish, though.
Which might be too bad since the only things I can find that I could do are literally sex and drugs lol
Look up MMM's 50 jobs wothout a college degree. If nothing there helps then I'm sure MMM mentions something in another article.

These are interesting; I'm looking for any availability in these within the area. As for the programming ones, I'll just have to learn them first, though that'll take more time than I currently have.

There's also a part 2 to that list. Instead of watching TV or whatever in your spare time try learning one of the skills listed there. You never know when a college kid will need you to fix her car or whatever or when someone needs tutoring. Learn skills that make money.

Ignore the 10000 number and just take the philosophy to heart.

You're fucked. Drop out and do one of the jobs on

Really? I know lack of internships tends to screw people over in STEM fields, but I don't know about the GPA scaling.
I am looking around for those jobs nonetheless. I also need to take programming seriously.

Bump.
Bump before the spam shoves this out.

You are spending way too much..

I neither get to select the cost nor the university that accepts me. I have to pay out of state, which effectively doubles the annual cost of attendance.

Furthermore, I'm ineligible for further financial aid from the school
