I don't know how to help people. Or myself. I get these grand ideas in my head about how I could make a difference with some complicated project, then after I start working on it with a clear mind I realize that I didn't really want to help, and just wanted to make myself feel good.

Ive been numbing myself for the last 10 years or so. Started becoming undepressed within the last few months. Now that I can actually feel stuff, I'm starting to recognize exactly how pathetic I am and its been getting to me. Sometimes it seems like I make myself miserable on purpose.
