I will keep this short

>be really good friends with a girl for about 2 years
>she calls me her best friend
>like her a lot, but am just fine being friends with her as she is married
>she has a kid
>she still makes an effort to hang out.
>gradually this stops happening
currently
>haven't hung out with her in 2-3 months
>ask her what's up?
>"there's nothing wrong, I'm just busy. we need to catch up soon!"
>a month later nothing has happened

Do I ask her what's up again? Or do I just leave it alone and move on?

Well first off, don't try to break up her marriage if that's what you're thinking. Second, just ask her out to hang out sometime, invite her to dinner or even just have to lunch sometime. Stop waiting for her to ask you.
