Hey /adv/ why don't you do some community service by becoming a pen pal to a prison inmate who might be alone and seeking companionship?
Since /adv/ loves giving advice, who better to give advice to than an inmate, and who knows maybe you'll get a best friend or possibly even a lover out of the deal?
By writing an inmate you might inspire them to turn their life around and have some hope for a better life when they get out.
You could help decrease recidivism and repeat offenders.
More people should write prison inmates and become friends with them in hopes of rehabilitating them. Perhaps you can even red pill them on politics and life, so that they can be productive citizens when they are released.
So why aren't you a pen pal of a prisoner yet /adv/?
