Well, thanks :) Mainly I realize that;
1) Trying to stop piracy at this level (indie development) is honestly going to take so much effort and time that it's going to slow down development to a crawl, and it's not going to mess us up that much financially.
2) A good deal of people who pirate stuff, believe it or not, will buy/pledge to the game if it's solid enough quality. Those that don't, might still spread good word of mouth about the game. And for those who don't pledge afterwards or mention the game to a single soul, they wouldn't have spent money on the game regardless.
So, pirating to me, leads to either an increase in profit, an increase in exposure for the game/patreon, or no loss in profit. The only real thing I ask is that if it's on a forum that has actual private messaging, that people spread it through that instead of posting it publicly, as when pirating gets up to insane levels is when it starts actually possibly hurting the financial stability of the project, but again, not about to do a DMCA in any case. (4chan may be a public forum, but the old threads aren't nearly as accessible as they are on say, ULMF.)

Well, thanks :) Mainly I realize that;
1) Trying to stop piracy at this level (indie development) is honestly going to take so much effort and time that it's going to slow down development to a crawl, and it's not going to mess us up that much financially.
2) A good deal of people who pirate stuff, believe it or not, will buy/pledge to the game if it's solid enough quality. Those that don't, might still spread good word of mouth about the game. And for those who don't pledge afterwards or mention the game to a single soul, they wouldn't have spent money on the game regardless.
So, pirating to me, leads to either an increase in profit, an increase in exposure for the game/patreon, or no loss in profit. The only real thing I ask is that if it's on a forum that has actual private messaging, that people spread it through that instead of posting it publicly, as when pirating gets up to insane levels is when it starts actually possibly hurting the financial stability of the project, but again, not about to do a DMCA in any case. (4chan may be a public forum, but the old threads aren't nearly as accessible as they are on say, ULMF.)

Thanks :) I would say the new versions of FF will be a massive improvement over the prior versions, and Internal Interrogation is gonna blow Magic Matchup away (goal being that everything I make is always better than the last game), and Reclaim Reality I'm REALLY excited about, as much as I am for FF. :D

Going with this idea I came up with a cast of four characters and I want to write fun/funny stories with them. The idea is a little shaky "guy who has created a business -- albeit, a struggling business -- literally fucking ghosts." No idea what the end game would be, or like if the plot could have any stakes at all beyond malicious ghosts that actually can fuck the main character's shit up.
>Russell : A man who possesses an incredible amount of excess spiritual energy, causing him to have the ability to touch ghosts/be touched by ghosts who feed of of the energy. He's riddled with intimacy issues due to the fact that literally every woman he's been with disappears after he gets intimate with them – living or dead. (although he's only technically been with two living women in his life.)
>Olivia: A young goth girl who suffers from a similar plight as Russel, but in more of a grounded way. She suffers from different types of mental problems (depression, anxiety) that has made literally anyone she's grown intimate with flee from her.
>Deidre: A deceased southern woman who remains something of a mystery. After a failed cleansing, she haunts Russell desperate to be sexually satisfied, but he's yet to actually find out what she's looking for exactly. The Ghost hangs around, sexually teasing, and harassing the priest.
>Emmaline: A middle aged woman with a deep knowledge of sex, she often aides the Main Character in looking for clues as to what different ghosts might be looking for, and provides “equipment” at discounted prices.
As for the game play, I have no real idea. I feel like it'd be a visual novel with light puzzle elements, but I feel like there could be something a little more interesting done in terms of game play.
Something based on the idea that the player has to find out what the Ghosts' fetishes are, probably through searching the haunted location, and getting the ghost to loosen up/feed off of your energy.

Hey, I enjoy playing adult games too. Half the reason I started was to inspire others to make games. We have different concepts and ghost girls are definitely something I like. I'm all for it.
Also great art. I really do hope you make something. Lots of people have concepts but very few make them into a game.
I had an idea years ago (before I came up with the horror movie monstergirl dating sim) for a series of mind control stories that was just a guy going around and brainwashing murderous Sadako type ghost girls into sex slaves. Shame I never got around to writing it.

My biggest problem is that I most likely wouldn't be able to program the game. I have a pretty basic knowledge of programming and I honestly don't feel like I could tackle this in a satisfying manner. Even if I tried, I feel like I would just get frustrated at the fact that I was programming instead of drawing.

When I started Overwhored all I knew how to do was write. Not art, not programming, not anything. You can learn if you really want to do it.
Just remember to start with something VERY short and simple. If you want to start with the ghost girl you should set up something that's literally just, "Find ghost girl, solve simple puzzle or just engage in dialogue, bang." I made about 40 or 50 games before I got started on Overwhored, all too small and crappy to go out to the public.
Try a very, VERY simple VN first. Or a super simple two or three room RPG Maker game. Keep it simple and you can manage it.
Honestly the real reason I succeeded in making a big game like Overwhored where so many others fail is that I looked at it like I was making seven games; each heroine's story period was its own game. Together it was overwhelmingly large; separately it was large but doable. And I could further break that down into "this dungeon" or "this town" to make everything make sense.
Start really simple and small, then chain little simple small games like that together and even big things become doable.

Just don't waste too much energy with your first few games. Make them with the intention that they're throwaways you're not going to bother to share. Do sketch level art and no higher (or hell, stick figures) for instance. Then you take the best ideas and lessons you learn from the throwaway stuff to make an equally short but better game for the public.
My first public game was an exceptionally bad game called hypno master with stolen art and poor programming but it was a full game. It's amazing how proud you'll be of your first full game even if it is crappy.
For the stuff that doesn't go out to the public (and I emphasize doesn't go out to the public) I fully encourage you to outright rip off the work of others. Just copy them verbatim to learn how to do the stuff they did. When you're learning it makes sense to copy from what already works rather than make up everything from the start yourself. Public stuff needs to be original, of course, but if it isn't going out to anyone feel free to steal for educational purposes.
