Honestly, I think SR7's problem is that he has all these very cool ideas, and no real ability to capitalize on them. He doesn't understand what makes games playable, let alone fun, well enough to execute these visions of his. On top of that, his scope is so wildly out of line with the reality of what he can deliver in a timely manor.

Both are different enough stylistically to come down to preference. From what I can tell, people tend to agree that the "game" part of PT is better, for a number of reasons, but prefer the hands-on training aspect of WT.
They are both lacking in terms of "game", but provide enough structure to facilitate plot and smut, thus being palatable. Honestly, too much gameplay is a downside to porn games, as most people want to get to the sex scenes as quickly as possible.

From my understanding, the game tends to exist to facilitate plot. It's not that people don't like having the game aspect. Quite the contrary, but a balance between game and porn needs to be struck. Typically, the game serves as a means to give players freedom to experience the kind of porn they want to experience, the easy example being public vs. private use. Grinding is just an easy way to make a game, so it tends to be overly relied upon in this genre.

UE's departure followed by my mother's illness certainly set the project back a long way. It's a shame because in different circumstances I'm sure you'd all have played through a pretty hefty demo by now.
Progress is pretty slow these days. We probably won't hit our aim of having a demo ready by the end of May, but I'll post some of the CGs to make up for it. One for each of the main characters I suppose (will probably have to censor Astoria though).

The best way to do this, of course, is to make the grind itself also kind of sexy, that you're doing kind of sexy stuff, like getting them to do minor teases and things like that, to unlock seriously sexy stuff, like actual sex. This is one thing Princess Trainer does better than a lot of the competition, as almost every element has a certain sexiness to it.
The worst ones are the ones that force you to grind completely unsexy stuff, like robbing banks, to be able to afford a strip club.
