Absolutely. It's separating based on what might turn someone off so the fetishes involved are more exclusively arousing. A straight dude/lesbian into BBWs doesn't necessarily want to see fat dudes, a gay dude/straight woman into BHMs doesn't necessarily want to see fat girls, someone into chubby girls may be turned off by advanced obesity/immobility, slob's obviously not for everyone, and mutual gaining's a niche for bisexuals and/or gainer-feeder combos and also that thread is a shithole that's rightfully quarantined from this one.
I'll admit some of the other threads are slower, but funneling everyone sexually interested in the incredibly general idea of a fat person into a single thread is a recipe for trouble. Slob especially gets a ton of flak, and slight-chub-interest folks get really whiny about immobility.
