I don't really have much in terms of content to offer, but I can try to best explain how I fell into this fandom. My aunt and I would always watch movies together - The Wizard of Oz was a big one we revisited. I remember she had red pumps that I would walk around in while pretending to be Dorothy. Well one day we went to the library and picked out Willy Wonka. To be honest, the beginning didn't really captivate me (apart from the teacher, he was so funny). Anyway, when it started to turn whimsy I grew more and more interested. I'm a sucker for fantasy stuff. From edible teacups and dishes, to the chocolate river, I fell in love. That is until the children began to be picked off. Skipping to Violet, I always found her to be the most relatable. I'm not going to say I'm just like her or anything, we just had similar competitive streaks, though I realized she had a very bad attitude. Still, I never thought she deserved what happened to her. Her entire figure was altered, and she ultimately was turned into a giant piece of fruit with the threat of explosion. All this from gum. My aunt knew I was the mischievous sort so she held it over my head. She would tell stories about kids who had similar ends, and warned me to be on my best behavior at church. When i got older, I started getting into horror films, and the concept of inflation/weight gain seemed to follow me each time: Leprechaun, Hood of Horror, Nightmare on Elm Street, etc. My ex would watch these with me, though he gave me a hard time over it. I was developing at that time so there were some parallels made by him. I started to realize this wasn't something I was afraid of, but rather something I enjoyed. I would take balloons and put them under my blouse while blowing them up. This one time I was caught on recording doing something similar. Because of the original nature of the obsession I am more into it as being a punishment. However, there are many physical aspects I enjoy.

Well, I do like the concept of hips and breasts expanding in tandem with everything else. Cartoonish proportions can be humiliating in a good way. Of course I like the idea of being rolled around, but it's incredible when paired with oompa loompa like songs. That was a genius way to punish people. Of course the threat of popping is amazing, but more so than that I enjoy the idea of being converted into a sort of dessert dish. Weird I know. I guess an example would be anything b-ridge or fillmeup has written for their factory tours. Because of my history with horror and punishment, the darker the better. i seek out what I call "punch to the gut" factors with each story. The more shocked I am the better. I'm sorry for sounding annoying or stealing any attention from the thread!

An aside note, I actually stole gum once when I was younger. I never cried so hard over something so small, but thinking back it's kind of funny how I even managed to mimic Violet in that aspect as well. Of course I didn't do it for that reason, I just wanted to try bubbleyum's cotton candy flavor bubblegum. Still, I returned it to pay after a long lecture, many tears later. It's even more ironic when you take into consideration that the gum was blue.
