It flowed well from the previous chapter but in one panel we see Josuke standing there with his liver missing and blood everywhere and you turn the page and he's strolling towards the door perfectly fine and his clothes magically clean. He has so many asspulls it's not funny. They're entertaining but they were getting a bit old by the end of the Part and beating Kars with the biggest asspull just wasn't satisfying considering Joseph didn't actually do it.

The first fight with Wamuu wasn't really an asspull.
Joseph was showing off a new weapon, which only had one relatively minor thing Wamuu didn't expect. After that he was hurt by Wamuu's attack and the rest of the 'fight' was purely him bluffing his way out of being killed then and there, he didn't even make any other attacks.
And the ice shit wasn't at all unprecedented, considering that Jonathan and Zeppeli had used a similar technique to stick leaves together.Hamon's pretty shit though, yeah.
