Fuck it, Berserk helped me find resolve to change myself from a stinky social outcast into a /fit/izen and decent human being.
It holds a very special place in my heart, it is one of the best tales ever told in my opinion, as we watch Guts suffer and struggle, we truly feel it, and we find strength in that we are not alone in an often cruel and unforgiving world.

I like the anime, it finally got me to start reading the manga to see why everyone is so angry at the adaption, amazing so far.
Speaking of the opening, the ending to the old anime perfectly describes my feeling for a proper Berserk adaptation. Hell it describes my feeling for Berserk in general.
