The manga's pretty fast; IIRC during Oracion Seis, the anime settled into ~2 chapters per episode, which felt about right.
That said, if you're looking for fanservice and animation, check out the OVAs or the movie. The TV series is pretty QUALITY early on.

The second series ended. It would have needed to go into a filler hell to avoid catching up to the manga in the middle of an arc again, so they ended it at the last good point for them to do so. A third series is in the works, but no details have been announced yet.
