2d animation gets you those amazing fight moments, just watch opm, 10times better animation, then shit in this shitty show. Only reason im watching this show is because of seeing gore and cool moments, i already know the story. Only thing these animators need to do is focus on the fucking animation.
It was pretty bad, but not remotely as painful as you guys make it seem. And considering the old Berserk anime also had a very shitty first episode, I think it is ok to wait a little and see how the rest of the series pans out.
Also, note that the Count isn't necessarily cut considering all the changes they are doing to the plot. For example, they could easily have Farnese take Guts to the Count, or have Guts meet the Count after escaping from Farnese. The later scenario could also work with Rosine (Lost Children is considerably longer and doesn't work with Isidro around, though, so that one is almost definitely getting cut).
