The problem with that is that there was never an "original OEK" to begin with. People just head canon'd away after she mentioned the nameless OEG which forced the parent organization of the CCG into creation. More retards jumped the ship because the OEK was an enigma symbolized as a skeleton, even though it was leading modern day Aogiri grunts in its imagery along with the symbol and all the "King's" background info was Eto's.
But I agree Rize's kagune plays a huge role in this mess somehow. Pretty sure it deals with the circumstances of V needing her for breeding. She was probably specially bred too.

Eto being on rc suppressant is not proven in canon and I think even if she wasn't, she would still lose. She has no fighting skills whatsoever and her power is just tanking and smashing. One thing I've found pretty consistent is Ishida's ability to introduce a character who I think I'll fucking hate, like Mado Sr. or Suzuya or the entire fucking QS muppet baby squad, and make me like them.
Also, the whole revelation of Tooru, who seemed like the only sane one in the Quinx Club, actually being a fucking psychopath was pretty neat.

I have been seeing the story advance in a similar direction for quite a while now. It is the only logical follow up of chapters 61 - 66 that I can see. But my problem now is, what in the world would be Kaneki's impetus to become Eto's real life "King Bilegyr?" Despite holding onto the recording of Eto and Furuta, he does not seem to be concerned with V or the CCG's corruption. Granted, he was in suicide mode back then. He may be back into "The world is wrong" mode and want to build peace between humans and ghouls as in part 1 (and V is an obstacle to that.) Arima didn't kill himself because of autism, he was teaching Kaneki one final lesson: That he was not fighting a battle that permits mercy. Arima was most likely in a position where losing simply wasn't an option, and Kaneki defeating him, whether he killed him or not, would have the same result.
Because really, what does Kaneki expect to do at this point? He has clearly betrayed the CCG for the sake of ghouls, Suzuya, the Q squad, and his "family" his enemies. The one he's saving murdered Akira's father, yet he thinks that he can commit this betrayal without getting his own hands dirty.
Kaneki's refusal to kill Arima showed naivete and a lack of conviction, so Arima answered that by bloodying Kaneki's hands without giving him a say in the matter.
