No one knows what will happen in vol 12, even WW because the lazy faggot hasn't written it yet. If Yui doesn't get Hikki it isn't so bad. 8man has never been her everything and at the end of the day she will still have her friends and the service club. I think Yui can win but I don't think it is likely but I can guarantee you she won't get a bad end. WW didn't give Yukino a bad end in ANOTHER so it stands to reason he won't give Yui a bad end in vol 12.
I want the series to end because it has been a full year today since vol 11 came out.

She has developed beyond that. You aren't paying attention to Yui if you think that. If getting 8man was the only thing Yui was interested in she would have taken 8man with ease along with dollnon's consent but she didn't. She helped both of them and helped 8man cement his feelings for getting something genuine.

At this point I just hope some of the side-characters get a decent enough sendoff. This is probably the only series that still gets discussed where the fanbase is delusional enough to insist that having a bunch of recurring characters being one-note and lacking depth is a good thing instead of being signs of a badly written story.

She didn't, or rather you can't even call it a win. Yukino is still implied as future girl. Her recipe hints that much.
And for the main story, Yuifags need to accept reality. We already talked about this last week. Yui and 8man's relationship have virtually never progressed and never will mive past friends with an awkwardness due to little understanding of each other. They hardly have always decent conservation and not an ounce of chemistry exists between them. On the other hand, Yukino and 8man have stimulating chemistry and can hold interesting conversations for many topics, and of course 8man's feelings for Yukino have been noted numerous times to be...special.
