Likeripping flesh, removing their nails, licking Subaru's goddamn eyes, showing the village where those children he saved with everyone dead, their heads cut off and made to look in the direction of where their torture was happening, torturing Rem alongside him, making it so that if anyone complains or grunts from pain, the person next to the one who grunted would start receiving torture, Rem tries to hold out, can't handle at some point, starts saying sorry, gets killed and dismembered in front of him, he's taken out of the cross they were in, dies.

The main point here is that Satella is insane and allowing her plans to come to fruition are going to turn out bad for everyone. Both of her personalities are dangerous,and it's the sweet one who everyone loved that destroyed half the world.Whatever relationship she has or had with Subaru is pretty clearly twisted.
I just don't see Subaru being able to maintain a position as the great hero, and there's no truly happy ending if he goes the Dark Lord route and sticks with it. His best option is probably to leave that all behind once he's done what he's needed to, which is why I suggested he should probably have his memory erased from the world too. That way he'd at least be able to live in peace with no one coming after him for anything.
