What solution do you suggest exactly? Puppet shit is exclusive to Touko, that whole system is basically her life's work. The only way out available to her would be using HF to transfer her soul to a body with a longer lifespan, which she uses for Shirou instead. In Fate and UBW she doesn't even get a chance to use the 3rd magic.
