I think personally the entire point of the arc was that Mureum was NOT a threat at all.
As the plot progresses he begins to feel human emotions, and by the end of the arc he has morals and feelings, and he can't handle it.
The point of the plot is that of tragedy. Mureum would have, if encountered good people from the start, been able to make a home for the chimera ants and they probably would have been able to peacefully coexist with humans, much like how the remaining few currently are.
The final ants are all very human, and thats what makes the whole arc so sad at the end. Mureum died before he had the chance to become good.
It's just a giant catch-22 and its very depressing, very well written. Not many large scale arcs like the Chimera Ants in a show have evoked such strong emotions in me.

And he had to get out of the arena since he's responsible for that massive explosion which resulted in casualties. Chrollo would have been in deep shit had he stayed there.
He probably ordered the Troupe to get Hisoka's dead body after he was confirmed to be dead. For all we know, Chrollo could have been planning to give him a funeral.
The Hisoka-Chrollo dynamic is weird. They both think highly of each other in their own ways. Hisoka wants to fight Chrollo, and Chrollo sees the interesting parts of humanity through Hisoka.

Their relationship is weird. On one hand Hisoka annoys the fuck out of Chrollo and fooled/betrayed him, but we also know from other Spiders that Chrollo likes him, and we also know that from his own actions. He asked Hisoka if he wants to back down twice, but didn't look too thrilled all the while finding him interesting. Also he said he didn't think Judas(Hisoka?) was a traitor.
