Normally, yes, you are absolutely right but so is (more or less) the fact that Sakura is the Tohsaka child given away (hell, even in Prisma Illya where it seemingly makes no sense).

Not really. Point is that Throne of Heroes is lying outside time and space. EMIYA himself is actually taken as "possibility from different world" that is representation of fulfilled dream, but that it will be ultimately used for its destroying. Generally speaking EMIYA's role in Prisma is actually even more romantic, than in original FSN.
