If you get bored of waiting (there's 30 years and counting of content to adapt and they're only up to stuff from 1993 currently) I'd always recommend reading the manga from wherever you're up to since it's really good and is the sort of manga that people who typically prefer anime can still enjoy immensely. Both OPs are fine imo. We're getting a completely new one for episode 14-26 though. And DiU is gonna be 39 episodes. Parts 3-6 are all of a similar length and they're going with 39 from here on since heaps of people complained about the pacing of the SC anime being 48 episodes with short fights being dragged the fuck out. So when Parts 5 and 6 get animated they'll likely be 39 episodes each as well.

Bohemian Rhapsody was fucking awful only because they dragged it out for an eternity, and it was such an absurd broken stand the only way it could end is by something as retarded as WR coming up with a superhero to defeat it. I feel this way about pretty much all of part 5's battles, to be honest. There's a lot of back and forth, but no tension because you always know in the back of your head that Giorno's going to fix everything up, no matter how severe the injury. Part 4 had a healer main character too, but he couldn't heal himself and a lot of arcs either focused on other characters or weren't straight-up fights.

Not that anon, but a lot of part 5's fights were super intense and very one sided until someone from Passione decided to do something. The White Album fight I complained about for example, the back and forth is excruciating because it's not a battle of wits, it's just WA saying he froze the bullet or he froze the impact or he froze the freezing every single time, and every chapter starts and ends the same until he dies (but his death scene is great), it's just not fun to keep going through the same thing despite it being very intense. The Diavolo ones were an exception because he actually posed a very real threat to them, since he could actually stand up to Giorno's Golden Experience, not to mention crazy strength.

It's not just the fights, it's whatever moment Diavolo shows up. Sure I'll admit, having Giorno be able to heal the team after every battle removed some tension from the fight but the way the fights were handled in such intense ways still made the part REALLY enjoyable.
But back on the point of Giorno, I'd have to say his ability as a healer helps set up Diavolo by quite a bit, it casts Giorno out for a while as the Jesus of part 5 when literally every time Diavolo showed up before actually revealing himself, he ended up killing or severely injuring one of the teammates, almost showing himself as a complete counter to Giorno. It's something no other part has done yet, and it worked really well in my opinion.

The train fight actually had to grow on me, first time I read through it I just hated it, mainly because I absolutely hate retarded character designs like J Geil, Beach Boy's user, Carne, etc. But on a second reading, using the colored raws I enjoyed it a lot more. Definitely can't wait for that to get animated, same with White Album, maybe that'll help my opinion of it.

Pretty much all of part 5 had to grow on me, on the 2nd re-read it became one of my favorite parts along with part 6 though. I fucking adore the train fight because of Pesci and Prosciutto's characters and dynamics, seeing Pesci develop and almost kill Bruno was so damn tense.
