Proof because Rem's parents didn't really do anything bad to Rem unless you are the retard who believes that Rem's nightmare in the forest was a real event and somehow the entire village had gathered in a dark forest to tell Rem to die.
Everything Rem's parents said to her turned out to be common sense and fact.
It makes more sense for two people to head into a forest together than soloing a trip to the forest alone because forest weather can be erratic with sudden rain storms.
