But no, tsundere and kuudere are two sides of the same coin, with the difference being their approach basically hot vs cool, but it does equal effort to write them, especially good ones. You could throw all the tropes and cliches into them, but what makes either of them stand above the rest is going to be entirely based on the execution of the chemistry between the girl and the MC (or to other characters besides MC).
Pig from Netoge is a good example here. Her cat and dog banter is something that the other girls don't have and it's one of the girls that makes her exciting, endearing, and awesome. The feeling of wanting her and MC get along while they engage in banter fuels shipping. It's that kind of thing that makes her great.

You're right about Saekano, I don't follow Blade Dance so no idea. Shy and sweet girls are a staple of the genre and as old as tsunderes though.

Out of the series mentioned in this thread, I can only think of Mashiro-Iro (and let's be serious, the only reason why this show is still discussed is because of how it jumped between Sana and Miu's routes) and Nisekoi doing this. Index and TWOGWK are special cases because the huge amount of girls means eventually rehashing some aspects.
Anyway, tsundere hatred is exaggerated and mostly fueled by bad writers who also fuck up their other characters and for some reason no one fucking cares.
I really hope Nisekoi has an open end to see everyone losing their shit.

Those archetypes aren't as inherently annoying. Most archetypes tend to be bland at worst if handled badly, but bad tsunderes end up coming off as outright awful humans beings who get their way for no real reason while everyone else suffers.
