We've known this forever, everyone's accepted this fact for weeks now and predicted multiple reasonable episode pacing predictions
SDC was milked dry for as many episodes as possible and horrible paced, so far they've shown they can get through things pretty quickly while still having some extra scenes, it'll be fine and better in the long run this way, even if it does make a weird discrepancy between anime length and manga length

Decided to actually calculate out how rushed 39 episodes would make the anime adaptation. There are 174 chapters in DiU. The end of the RHCP arc is chapter 49, and is approximately 28% of the way through DiU. The anime version of RHCP will end at episode 12, which is approximately 31% of the way through an anime adaptation of 39 episodes. So basically it's pretty much completely on track and we have nothing much to worry about pacing wise.

Actually this makes sense. Jojo's 30th anniversary is next year, and it's more than likely that they're gonna have a special event. They'll announce Part 5 animated at the event (plus maybe another Jojo vidya) And hopefully it'll air the same year.

Seems like David really want to be efficient about getting through these parts, which is certainly nice when you consider how fucking long it took with SC.
Although I'm still slightly skeptical about the whole 39 episodes, they've not feel rushed in the slightest so far, and SC probably should've been a handful of episodes shorter anyway. I just wonder when in 2017 we might be able to expect VA - probably first towards the end of the year.

I'd disagree, while they're not all super noteworthy they're still more memorable than some of the quickly discarded baddies from past parts, even the rock men who have died keep reappearing in flashbacks and are recalled
Keep in mind a few of the villains became allies, before the rock men we had Sasame, Daiya and Kyo, with the latter 2 coming onto Josuke's side. I guess Tsuguri might count as a minor villain too, and shakedown road had no defined bad guy.
Then its all rock men and Joubin and I feel they're a pretty defined and memorable group, specially after flashback interactions. Like the least memorable would be the Aphex twins and even though their fight ended quickly they still got to shine more than some previous minor villains.

An interview with Ono D revealed that the games and anime have separate casting auditions. Some seiyuu might be busy (which is what I've convinced myself happened with Kamiya not voicing Rohan in the anime), game seiyuu might not try out, lots of different factors could influence who comes back or not.
