Not gonna lie, I think that this is kind of the thing Digimon has needed.
Of course, it could suck but it looks really unique for the franchise. My only concern is that while I have no problems with the monster designs, I am worried that none of them will get big. The gattai gimmick is nothing new to Digimon and considering the roots of the series, I have no doubt there will probably be a "traditional" evolution scheme down the line but one thing that Digimon really used well was it's kaijuu aspect.
Even something like Xros has them turning into giant robot thingies. From the way it looks, it seems they won't get much bigger than human size but then again, I'm only seeing one "Appgattai" so maybe they'll do something later.

It's a trend to catch children while they watch TV. since Arc-V was the first to be a hit and the MC has green hair they would follow this to the young audience say: ''hey, it's that green hair boy's anime'' and give them more people watching.

This is all just a cash grab against yokai watch. At least they've stated it's digimon universe and not digimon directly. I'm not too spiteful about this, but a few things that suck are: not being available outside of japan, and not having any signs of continuing the digimon series at all. They're stupid and don't realize that digimon isn't a competitor against pokemon or YW. The entire series is its own category and would do very well again in the west if they bothered to do a new show that went back to the roots of what digimon was. Now, they're just trying to stay afloat as a company and piggybacking off of digimon's name. It's gonna be the end of this all together and that's kinds sad.

It still having Ash makes it worse, though, since he's just treated as a mascot, like if there was a Disney series with mickey mouse as the protagonist running since 1950 or something, Ash is not treated as a character with a real personality, he forgets about all previous seasons whenever a new season starts and there is no overarching story going anywhere.
I prefer the digimon model, sure, it kinda sucks having to say goodbye to characters you've grown attached to, but it allows them to have defined stories with a clear beginning, middle, and end instead of becoming zombie shells of what they once were.
