It's easily my favorite of the series in terms of as a show. It's one of the few shows in general that actually shows characters go through arcs and have to work at becoming better. People feel like they grow older and mature as the series goes on.
Honestly I hardly have the time to watch it in full anymore. I usually will end up watching DYRL or Macross Plus. It is a masterpiece. A screwed up piece of work, made out of re-purposed animation, and wasn't expected to come together into something amazing. Like Voltron. Robotech really did more with less, when compared to the things current animation studios are putting out.

As a robotech fan, I get Delta is it's own thing, in it's own little ignored backyard sized star cluster. But I was hoping for more Zentradi and Opterans. Instead I get one mandatory Zentradi commander (who's shrunk), and not even a mention of the slugs. Would it be too much to ask to have someone arguing in traffic with one?

how do vfs transform in this era?
at first I always thought it was some type of switch like in the vf 1,however here we see a vf transform faster than another so is there some other possible way to transform them?
What if VFs have multiple ways to transform.
Is it done manually by moving controls? or is it something using brainwaves?
Or is the faster reaction time due to the fold crystals?
