Here's the thing about Big Mom. Menopause can be real!

If we're real about things, women can begin bearing children at let's say 14-years-old. There are 9 months of pregnancy. If you breastfeed your child after birth, even when trying to get pregnant again right away, you're 98% unlikely to be fertile for 6 months. Assuming this, Big Mom can't have kids without a 15 month variable between them.
We can also consider, if she does NOT breastfeed, you can literally conceive within a week of childbirth. Assuming this, Big Mom would only need 9 months between children.
With these two things, Big Mom starting at 14 and the is/isn't breastfeeding, she would be between 78 and 120 -years- old.
But what about if she had twins? Triplets? Quadruplets? QUINTUPLETS? Well, then we can reduce her age for both circumstances
Twins = 46 - 67
Trips = 35 - 49
Quads = 30 - 41
Quints = 27 - 35
BUT WAIT! She has 43 husbands! We are meant to assume she has AT LEAST one child with EACH of those 43 men, right? With 87 kids, she can't possibly only have quints, that'd only be 17.4 men. She can't have quads only, that'd be 21.75 men. She can't have trips only, that'd be 29 men.
She COULD have twins only, that'd be 43.5 men. EXACTLY THE NUMBER of husbands (43)!
But...having ONLY twins doesn't work either because, with 43 husbands, that'd be 86 children, not 87. However, it's not like she couldn't have 1 special childbirth of one child.
OKAY! SO, we can assume Big Mom only has twins! That makes her 46 - 67 years old.
But, we have another problem: Pudding is easily adult (let's say 20). But Pudding is the 35th daughter of 39 and 46 sons. At 20-years-old, she had to be one of the very early sets, which isn't likely considering her position as 35th. Unless ALL the sons were born AFTER the daughters! Then we can assume the last 25 years have been 4 daughters and 46 sons. POSSIBLE!

Found this theory
So my theory is based on the assumption that pudding is in fact the three eyed girl previously seen with Big Mom.
Now, I do believe Pudding is tricking the SH, but this isn't my theory.
My theory lies with her actual powers. We all know that Oda likes to use historical figures and mythology when creating characters. So, to me it seems possible that Pudding's third eye is based off of the chakra third eye.
Third eyes have been seen throughout mythology and they always symbolize someone with clairvoyance or seeing the truth in things(pretty much enlightenment).
Anyway, Big Mom's subordinates seem to know so much about the world, who people are, and their history. This is seen with Sanji's past and even with the way Big Mom deals with people that oppose her. (Attacking people close to you)

One Piece fell into the same problem as the other shonens.
Every time Oda expands the story and the universe there question comes up, where were they until now?

This chapter revealed a lot about about the Big mom pirates, like how there are 46 sons. We also know that you are either married or born into the pirate group, which means Pekoms is either a son or son-in-law, but what does that have to do with pudding or Pedro? Well in chapter 822 Pekoms called Pedro his brother... which you could argue that calling him brother meant that he was friend or just a fellow mink, but Pekoms never called anyone else brother, infact the minks never referred to themselves as a family. Which means that Pedro is somehow related to Big Mom, which means we can assume that he's been to whole cake island or at least on her islands around whole cake. Actually it is not a surprise that Pedro has visited before, remember that mink who called out Pedro on chapter 827? How else would he know Pedro if he has never visited Big Mom before. But what really gets me is the fact that he was so eager to attack Pudding, which goes into my second point that Pudding is evil. Considering that Pedro has been on these Islands before presumably he would have met Pudding and knows that she is evil and deceiving. Also did you notice that she only could describe Sanji off of things on his bounty poster why? because she never met him! but what about the meetup on wholecake? I believe that it's a trap, which is proven when Pekoms leaves a note that says turn back after he was kidnapped by who I believe was Pudding.

Very late into the manga that may come up again, particularly during Luffy vs Blackbeard. As it is now it makes it more interesting to see the different kinds of pirates without panels, and if Luffy was a Peace Main there'd be a LOT less conflicts on islands cuz they'd just go "Nah bruh, we're Peace Mains" and the village would put their guns and pitchforks down.

Zou arc was chill enough for me. Show me one panel of Luffy being angry. It was as chill as we're gonna get; these threats don't just vanish into thin air. Oda's time to chill was before the Straw Hats were discovered, back on post-timeskip Sabaody. They could've all been disguised and met up... somehow. And then gone somewhere remote and chilled, drank alcohol, shared stories, etc. We KINDA got that on the descent to Fishman Island though. Was p. chill.
None of this is rushed though, in fact it's very nicely paced. Zou was the length it needed to be.

Crocodile was the next big boss from Arlong and it was a huge jump, 4x the bounty. Luffy struggled like hell and got defeated by his stomach being impaled and drowned in a quicksand tomb, then by being grotesquely mummified. He only defeated Croc in a sufficiently dramatic temple-crumbling scene. Now if he defeated Doffy at that point who had a 340m frozen bounty, yeah that would be a major inconsistency. Croc's bounty was put at 80m by Oda for a reason. They're not DIRECT translations to powerlevels, but they have always somewhat correlated.

When you look at Luffy day one of his journey, he punched out the Lord of the East Coast ina single punch. Sure not the strongest example of a Sea King, but impressive for a boy starting his journey, and definitely not glass ceiling of Luffys strength measured at that point.
Get down to it, it took a while for Luffy to really be challenged. Buggy nor Kuro really posed a threat to him. sure they got a few digs in with trickiness and exploitation of speed, but its not like Luffy was ever really on the verge of defeat to them.
Don Krieg was the first real tough person luffy fought, and Don Krieg was indeed formidable. Just because Krieg was BTFO early in the grand line means nothing when he was BTFO by Hawkeye, a top tier character to todays standards. Truth is, Krieg likely would have had a successful career in Paradise Grand Line if not for hawkeye, on a comparable level to Foxy Pirates during their big win spree. Krieg was a grand line level character.
and ditto for Arlong as mentioned. He spent his early career with Sun Pirates, in the grandline. hell he started right on the border of New World, in Fishman Island. back then only people to take him down were likes of Jimbei and Kizaru.
So even before entering the grandline, Luffy was a grand line strength character.
Admitively, Crocodile underestimated Luffy and that was a big part of his defeat, and why he, a warlord level character found himself BTFO by Luffy. But Luffy was already well on his way towards tat level of strength, having started out pretty close to its door steps.
