Despite what some say, I think Gash had a great ending.

The final arc wasn't better than the Faudo arc, but I don't think an ending necessarily needs to be the high-point of the series.

It basically did everything it needed to.
>Genuinly threatening final villain
>Every main character reaches their full potential of power
>Party members dropping like flies
>Gash temporarily getting a cool power-up that makes sense
>Final battle between main rival to settle everything.

And most important of all, it delivers on the central premise. At the end a a king is crowned.

Ushio and Tora maybe?
Crows had a decent ending.
I don't remember Hikaru No Go's ending being bad.
